HUGO LOVES TIKI

My tiny garcon and I adore Union Square park. Sunday morning we were headed to a very special photo shoot with Sakura Bloom (eek! I will be sharing more soon!) and when the cab pulled up to our favorite entrance (yes, toddlers have a favorite EVERYTHING) we took a few minutes to relax and enjoy the weather. A big thank you to Hugo Loves Tiki for Lucas’s adorable sweater and mamas new favorite Spring bag! I’m so in love with the entire collection and I can’t wait to hang these prints (this and THIS!) in Lucas’s new room. Tomorrow we are expecting a snow storm so back to jacket weather it is. I am dreaming of warm weather and toting my new jus d’orange tote to Central Park picnics.                          sweater and tote c/o hugo loves tiki | hat (thrifted) | jeans from baby zara | moccs c/o freshly picked

I was recently introduced to Kira Kids..fashion goodness I tell ya! When our package arrived the first thing I noticed were the bold prints. Hip and modern (to satisfy mama) and absolutely adorable and fun (for Mr. Lucas of course). Who doesn’t love a bear rocking out with his boombox? So very 90’s chic! The fabric is soft – Like really soft, and holds up great in the wash (one of my biggest pet peeves is purchasing something for Lucas only to have it hanging on by a thread – literally – after just a few washes. major bonus points, Kira Kids!). Some of my favorite pieces in the collection include this cool dude, this guy, and this sweet dress for the princess in your life. I’m also seriously loving their curated Valentine’s shop, just in time to look extra adorable for Cupid.

Coming soon..Lucas in the raddest Kira Kids NYC cardigan. xo

FRO-YO AND BIG BOY BEDS

Today we had a date with my mama, pretty much the greatest lady of all time, in case you were wondering. We drove out to Jersey to shop for new coats and of course I took the opportunity to ogle at some house wares. There are some big decisions to be made such a white or black pendant lamp for our entry. I know. Crucial. We also got to check out some big boy beds. Lucas hopped from bed to bed, tucking himself into the sheets. I think he is ready. I on the other hand, am not. I’d love to know when any of you started the transition from crib to bed. I’m a nervous wreck! Do your kiddos get up in the middle of the night and pour themselves a bowl of cereal? Do they turn on the play station? I keep having visions of him just strolling through the apartment getting into massive amounts of trouble. Any advice is much appreciated!
Also, that adorable boy in the pictures was on turbo and thought it would be great fun to hide under every. single. clothing rack. I’m currently nursing a big cup of snapple and ice (my vice..I know..pretty lame) and searching pinterest – my new nightly routine. Hope you all had an equally eventful Thursday.

I recently discovered All Good Living Kids and became an instant fan. Made in the USA under ethical labor practices, their collection features awesome prints created by artists and graphic designers. They also have an organic line which uses low impact dyes and eco-concious screen printing. The designs are fun, modern, and just perfect for my mini city dweller. How awesome is this New York City tee? On a perfect Fall – esque Sunday, we headed out to the burbs for a backyard birthday party. Lucas’s little pal was turning one and we dressed him up for the occasion. How adorable is a toddler in a suit? A seersucker suit, you guys! #mamaswoon

Have you heard of Raine + Monet? It’s one of our fave children’s brands and is perfect for the bold, rebellious toddler (ahem..I’m talking about you, Lucas ;). With fun sayings such as we are young, free spirit, and wild wonder child, I just can’t get enough. Everything about Raine + Monet is kiddo perfection. My favorite tee is always be loud. If you know my kid, you know that he is boisterous, adventurous, and the life of the party. Loud would be an understatement and this tee fits his personality perfectly. You can follow on Instagram to see some seriously cool kids rocking R+M and shop the store here.

On Friday there was a distinct chill in the air that inspired me to tackle the big job of switching Summer/Fall clothes. About a 1/2 hour in I took a look at the mess and wanted to give up, but at that point there was no turning back. Piles upon piles took over the apartment – clothes to donate, clothes that were so stained they were no longer salvageable, clothes to save (both for the next kiddo and sentimental reasons)..the list goes on. After two hours I was home free. Beautiful (yes, beautiful) clean, organized drawers filled to the brim with clothes waiting to be worn on perfect chilly days. I’ve been hoarding this H&M Unicef shirt since last Spring. It’s still a tad big but I couldn’t wait for Lucas to wear it. And ps – those moccs? Freshly Picked has done it again. OX BLOOD people. They will be released on October 3rd and you don’t wanna miss your chance to get your hands on these bad boys. So mark your calendars 😉 Also, Susan – who is the creator of FP and just about the nicest, generous, super star mama around – is nominated for Martha Stewart’s American Made award. If anyone deserves to win, it’s this lady right here. It would mean the world if you could take a minute to vote. As if Susan couldn’t get any sweeter, she’s giving away a FREE pair of moccs a day through next Friday on Facebook. All you need to do is vote!

I’m obsessed with this denim jacket from Camp Wolf. Created and designed by hot blogging mama Cora, it’s hand-crafted with vintage fabric. Her store launches this August – you can find jackets, vests, and BOW-TIES! I love me a good bow-tie 😉 You can also find Cora sharing her life with her adorable (and fashion savvy) son Miles over at Miles, Papa, & Me. Follow Camp Wolf on Instagram for updates on her launch.

Sometimes it’s all about comfort. Lucas can usually be found running around the house in just his diaper. Today we accessorized with papi’s New York Yankees cap 😉 Casual is the new fancy! If I could, I’d totally jump on this bandwagon. Diapers all day, every day!

In case you haven’t heard, I’m a certified legging junkie! Is there anything cuter than a baby bum in stretchy pants? I think not. We are currently obsessed with this adorable tie-dye pair from Duke and Duchess Design. 70’s prints – yes, please!
