“A portrait of my son, once a week, every week, in 2014.”
There’s a little man living in my apartment who loves to wear nothing but a pull-up, rain boots, and a back pack (to store his treasures, of course). Yea. It’s pretty stinking adorable.

Your favorite summer treat – firecrackers. They remind me of my childhood summers in NYC and now you love them just as much as mama. Side note: your bobos all lined up in a row. I promise we are working on this!

From this angle I can still see the last bits of your baby cheeks. I can’t believe in 4 months you will be THREE. I still expect you to want mama cuddles, kisses, and lovings – big boy or not 😉 I love you my León.

Oh that little smirk! Here you are in the middle of our moving mess/fiasco enjoying an afternoon snack. I’m prettyyy sure after this photo was taken and you were done eating you decided to dump your entire bucket of legos in the middle of the living floor. Legos and moving boxes don’t mix, just a little FYI 😉

My city boy. He’s in love with his new adidas (that mama scored for $5!) that are two sizes too big for him but he insists on wearing them almost every day regardless.

We have been knee-deep in moving this week. Your belongings are all mixed up and things are changing – but you are always in the best mood. Your smile is contagious and is the ultimate remedy when I’m feeling overwhelmed and frustrated. Thank you sweet boy.

I’m a sucker for those puppy dog eyes – even when you are being naughty. I’m also relishing in these last few days of you being in your crib. Next week you are moving to your big boy bed!
