“A portrait of my son, once a week, every week, in 2014.”
It’s ironic how even after the longest of long days when I’m counting down the minutes to bed time, the moment your eyes become heavy and I gently place you in bed, I MISS YOU.

You love to wear your rain boots just about everywhere. It’s actually quite practical for times such as these when you use The Hulk as a shovel to dig in the dirt.

This was taken this morning – playing with papi’s 30th birthday balloons. Balloons make for the best entertainment and I love how you say “baaaoooon!”.

A very happy Mother’s Day to all the mamas, aunties, madrinas, and friends! I hope today was filled with love, naps, and kisses from your babes.

Today we celebrated daddy’s upcoming birthday (he’s going to be 30!) at grandma’s house. He shares his birthday week with both your uncles and your grandpa. It’s an annual traditional to celebrate all the boys with lasagna, strawberry cheesecake, and all the family. At some point you decided to take off your shirt because celebrating is better in the nude.  Always.

You still have a love affair going on with your paci (aka the bobo) and you just can’t seem to quit her. Mama is working on it but I have a confession to make…I not so secretly love how it still makes you seem like my little baby.

Bath time is Lucas’s jam nowadays. He brings ALL his toys in with him and can play long past his tiny fingers crinkle up and the water turns cold. Sometimes I even drain all the water (hint, hint kid..) but nope. Bath time forever! I love my water boy.

The smile that lights up my world. Point blank. I love you kid. Mami and papi love you more than you will ever know.
