Lillie: Last night you woke up at 2am. You had the biggest smile when you saw me and I opened my arms and you came running to sit in my lap. After you had fallen asleep I carried you back to your room and I stopped in front of the mirror to look at our reflection. You felt so small in my arms but seeing your long legs dangle down near my thighs was bittersweet.

Lucas: Your two bottom front teeth are loose and everyday you wiggle them to see if they’re almost ready to come out. These will be your very first baby teeth to come out and I  might be a little more excited than you for the tooth fairy to come.
