Part 2 with Appleshine (first post here)! After hours of Amelia and Marla’s hard work, Lucas and Lillie’s room is finally organized!! Every item has a home and the placement of toys makes sense (toys they play with more frequently, etc.). They not only organized the toys, but rearranged them in different spots around the room in ways I had never thought of.  They helped me with art placement and curated the most beautiful little nooks and displays. The kids and I are in love and couldn’t be happier!

One of my favorite storage solutions is their new lego system. Our lego situation before was a nightmare. We had several bins for all of the legos and one giant basket for Lillie’s duplos. There was no good way to store the bins  (too many and all different sizes) and cleanup was awful. All of their legos and duplos fit inside their new bins and they slide perfectly right under their bed.

They added these beautiful jars to hold all the kids art supplies (paints are still put away in the kitchen). I love how they look and they found a perfect spot for them above the kids book shelf.

I can not recommend Appleshine enough. I have tried countless times to do this cleanup myself and could never get it quite right. Having a professional organizer come to your home and create a space that is both beautiful and functional  is invaluable. What I loved about Amelia is that she took her time discussing the room with me and getting a feel for what I wanted. The list of supplies I purchased was so much smaller then I thought it was going to be and Amelia utilized a lot of what we already had, just in different ways.

**My old lap top was in an unfortunate accident late this Summer courtesy of a little girl who shall not be named. Water was spilled all over the computer and we tried everything to save it but unfortunately hundreds of photos were lost that I hadn’t had a chance to back up yet, including the before photos of the kids room. Lesson learned. Even without these photos I hope you can still get a clear vision of all the amazing work Appleshine put into the kids room!!
