Wishing you and yours a cheery, happy, healthy Christmas week! That little bear belonged to my beloved Abuelita and Lucas just adores him. Her spirit is with us always.

Because this deserved it’s own post and needs to be filed under #thingsineverwanttoforget.

Me: How much does mama love you?
Lucas: Too much. oh wait. Thissss much. (Stretches his arms as wide as he can.)
Me: How much do you love mama?
Lucas: The sun. The moon. The spaceships.

Que all the sappy mama tears. Stick a fork in me. I’m done.

I had the opportunity to team up with Minou Kids – a crazy amazing children’s online shop – to curate a top 12 holiday gift guide. The shop has everything from perfect threads to toys to room accessories. It was so hard to choose just 12 favorites (the mermaid onesie above! I mean..) Check out my picks here and use the code thankful for free shipping  on all US orders now through December 31st. Happy holiday shopping!

THE STROLLERS OF NEW YORK

This Fall I had the amazing opportunity to partner with Italian stroller company Inglesina in their ‘Strollers of New York’ film series. Inglesina selected 4 NYC mamas and their littles to share a day in their life. A film crew (who by the way were AMAZING) followed Lucas and I around our neighborhood as we headed to all of our favorite spots. It was surreal, magical, and also pretty damn cool feeling like we were being followed by the paparazzi – our 15 minutes of fame if you will. You can also check out our Q&A about motherhood in NYC and more info on our neighborhood. Thank you Inglesina for inviting Lucas and I to share in this incredible experience!

We are still loving the man bun/pony over here. We just arrived back from Florida and are getting into the swing of the Holidays – cleaning and prepping for our tree! Lucas is so excited for Santa and I have a feeling this Christmas is going to be incredible.

Sunshine and arts & crafts. A perfect combo. We are having the best time here in Florida and surprisingly (hehe!) we are not missing the cold weather back in NYC.

LIL ORGANIC

IMG_4171 IMG_4147 IMG_4145 IMG_4154 IMG_4162
Lil Organic is a kids wear company after this mamas heart. Designed in Warsaw, Poland by a creative mama/papa duo – their very first collection is inspired by music, art, and graffiti culture. Using certified organic fabrics and components, Lil Organic is combining an eco-lifeststyle with the artistic soul of their brand. The Coogi Sweatshirt is just so fab. Inspired by Notorious BIG, the print screams 90’s NYC to me – which I just love (my favorite time period growing up ;). The fit is a bit longer and narrower than a typical sweatshirt which I thought was genius, allowing Lucas to wear it for a long time to come. Shop the entire (amazing!) collection here.

We’re in Florida! Again! Can you tell we really love it here? We arrived Tuesday morning and were greeted by a house decked out in Christmas decor. My aunties know how to do the holidays right! Lucas is loving every bow, wreath, and blinking light. It has been such a pleasure relaxing on the back deck with just a light sweater and taking in all the sunshine. Sorry NYC. We all needed a break from the cold. Oh. Those wreath photos above? I woke up with this idea that I just knew would be perfect. Lucas poking his head out of a giant wreath? Adorable! Wrong. Total fail (especially the part where he flung the wreath across the grass..) but either way the photos still make me smile. We still have another week in the sunshine. Another week of thrifting, relaxing, more relaxing, and family time. The best. Happy Holidays from Clearwater!
