Agatha Cub for the win! Have you guys check out their new Bodega Series? It is pure perfection and everything I dream a children’s line should be. It really is the perfection collection for my city boy. Each piece is made to last and can most certainly be saved to pass down to future kiddos, which I love. And the patterns. Oh, the patterns! Be still my heart! I am obsessed with each and every item in this fantastic collection. You can shop Agatha Cub here. xx

I am so happy that we discovered Izzy & Ferd. The collection launched this year and it is gooood! What kid wouldn’t enjoy wearing sharks on their pants?! Adorable city over here! Designed and manufactured in L.A., every piece is constructed to be extremely durable and machine washable. The quality of the fabric is amazing – super soft to the touch and I am kind of jealous Lucas’s tunic doesn’t come in mama size. Shop the entire F/W 20,000 Leagues collection here. And in case you have trouble deciding on what to choose, here are a few of my faves: 1, 2, 3. Happy shopping!

A few snapshots of my favorite corners in our new apartment. Three months later is still considered new, right? Because the decorating/curating process has taken so much longer than I could have ever imagined! I have been trying to be extremely thoughtful and take my time with these oh so important decisions ;). The things I love most in our home are the pieces that have been handed down to us from family, especially the photographs which I can’t get enough of. I have also been going washi tape crazy. If anyone has a better solution to hang polaroids please let a mama know. Although I have to admit I’m quite liking my crazy black and white tape situation. It makes for an easy move when I want to switch things up a bit. Anywho, will be sharing more soon!
We had the perfect weekend, my boys and I. Saturday morning we took a walk around the neighborhood and wound up at T-Mobile where my guy pre-purchased the new iPhone for me (my birthday is in less than 2 weeks! hurrah!) and came back home for a quick nap. I then had a few hours to myself – Ivan took Lucas to his first Yankee game. I bragged to a few friends that I had a few hours of alone time to CLEAN. I mean. What is the world coming to 😉 Sunday we had a low key morning and decided to head out right before Lucas’s nap and walk over to our friends up in Spanish Harlem for wings and football. The weather was a dream and Lucas snoozed the entire time. We just received the Quad from Inglesina and we are officially spoiled. It is the perfect ride. The steering is magical (yes, a stroller can be magical) and it was such a treat pushing his new set of wheels as opposed to his usual umbrella stroller where I (Lucas) can feel every city bump. We were also invited to participate in Inglesina’s #strollersofnewyork series and I can’t wait to share more about that in October! No matter where life takes me, one thing is for certain. I am a mother. Lucas’s mother. It is the most fulfilling, rewarding, crazy, hectic, heart warming job in the world. He is my greatest achievement and when someone asks me “what do you do” my first response is – I am a MOM. I kinda wish I could rock this tee everyday. It made me feel all “I am mama, hear me roar!”. I loved all the smiles I received while walking hand in hand with Lucas. Thank you Riley & Co for creating the perfect tee for this Madre.
