Hugo Loves Tiki has done it again! One of my all time favorite children’s companies, they continue to floor me season after season. Cheyenne Norris is the founder and designer and has the most amazing eye for detail and beautiful prints that both kids and adults love. Think whimsical swans, vibrant fruit, and smiling bunnies.

This season they teamed up with Kip&Co and produced a gorgeousss bedding collection with reversible prints. The prints I chose for Lillie are from the Hugo Loves Tiki SS18 collection – seahorses and clams in a gorgeous palette of pinks and lilacs. Each piece is so so soft and beautifully made. Lillie LOVES her new bedding and I know it’s a set that she will still adore years from now in her big girl room.

Our move is quickly approaching. After what feels like an eternity it’s happening! I can’t stop dreaming about Lucas’s new room. From his art work to his bedding, it all feels so exciting. It’s the first room in the house I want to complete. I want him to walk in and know that it’s all his if that makes sense. A space to call his own where he has the freedom to create, make little boy messes, and where he feels safe. His very own toddler haven! I am loving the idea of a bright, airy space with pops of beautiful color. The rooms above are my current inspo and I’m hoping to recreate a similar look only with a Lucas spin, of course.

DREAM BIG | EVERLYLANE DESIGNS

I first came across Everlylane Designs when I was on the hunt for a tassel garland for Lucas’s first birthday party. I found a few shops but none had what I was looking for. Everylane was full of gorgeous colors and designs and every garland was just so beautiful! After Lucas’s shindig I promptly found a home for our garland above our bed and that is where it has happily resided for almost a year (many of you have seen it in all its glory on Instagram). I have to say, the quality has surpassed all my expectations. With just a weekly dusting, our garland is in perfect condition.

The crafty and talented Jess, creator of Everlylane (the ultimate garland), recently sent me this custom black and white beauty (POLKA DOTS you guys!) accompanied by a custom gold letter banner. It reads “Dream Big” and is the perfect addition to Lucas’s cozy nook. I might have did a happy jig when it arrived and made Ivan hang it up within 10 minutes of opening the box.
