Fall is just around the corner and I couldn’t be more thrilled. Pumpkin spice lattes, crisp weather, and all those gorgeous colors. I had a chance to collaborate with Feather Drum and each piece had me delighting in the fact that Autumn is almost here. You can see more of Lucas’s look over on Babiekins.
Dungarees. Blue Jeans. The classic overall. Lucas has long outgrown the few pairs he used to wear and I recently walked into the GAP and spotted these. In the girl section of course. They were 50% off and Lucas had to have them. In my opinion they are a childhood (and now an adult – don’t judge) staple and I had forgotten how youthful and adorable they are on my boy. I was planning to save them for back to school but Brooklyn was calling our name and these seemed like the perfect fit for a day wandering around the flea markets.
Classic pieces that are timeless will always have my heart. Does it get any better than beautiful knits lovingly made in Spain? I think not. La Coqeuta has become one of my very favorite brands and they have such an amazing selection for both Lucas and my little princess on the way.

The park! Sunshine! Yesterday was glorious. And by glorious I mean amazing. And by amazing I mean Lucas was shouting “I’m the king of the world” on repeat while running and back and forth from the slide to the jungle gym. It was clear that we have been cooped up for months and this little guy was ready to stretch those legs and play. Also, this jacket? Lucas’s new fave. He says “it’s beautiful” and I couldn’t agree more! His harem pants are from last season and I love them more and more with each wear.

I love matching with my boy. Seriously..I hope he always enjoys coordinating with his mama (one can dream, no?). I am a huge fan of easy slip-on sneakers that I can throw on with just about anything and when I discovered Bucketfeet I was hooked. You must must check out their children’s collection – cutest shoes EVER. Learn more about this awesome company over on Babiekins today. There might also be some more terribly adorable Lucas snaps. Just saying.
The weather was unseasonably warm last weekend which meant lots of layers to take on and off and a trip to Brooklyn. I got the chance to wear my new favorite wardrobe staple and rock it for a while sans jacket. Heavenly! I had been drooling over For Love and Lemons Knitz Collection for months and when they sent me their Solstice Sweater I was in sweater love! I mean. Sweater. Perfection. Will Ivan find it acceptable if I wear it everyday? Here’s hoping. You can head over to Babiekins to see a few more photos.
Lucas was dressed in head to toe cute (yes, cute) in his Duck Egg Republic hoodie and trousers. This insanely adorable company is based in Poland and is full of classic styles perfect for both boys and girls. I love the simple, modern designs and the fact that I can easily transition the pieces for Spring. And yes, I’m ready for you warm weather!
Lil Organic is a kids wear company after this mamas heart. Designed in Warsaw, Poland by a creative mama/papa duo – their very first collection is inspired by music, art, and graffiti culture. Using certified organic fabrics and components, Lil Organic is combining an eco-lifeststyle with the artistic soul of their brand. The Coogi Sweatshirt is just so fab. Inspired by Notorious BIG, the print screams 90’s NYC to me – which I just love (my favorite time period growing up ;). The fit is a bit longer and narrower than a typical sweatshirt which I thought was genius, allowing Lucas to wear it for a long time to come. Shop the entire (amazing!) collection here.
Oh how I love me a good sweat suit. You know the feeling of climbing into a favorite pear of sweats? So soft. SO GOOD. Vince has created a kids line and now the little ones get to have all the fun and I’m slightly jealous I don’t own this outfit in my size. It’s our perfect go-to outfit for afternoon dates that end with a stint in the park and a coffee for mama. Sweat suits for the damn win.
Superhero leggings for the win. Lot801 has done it right. I’m a huge legging fan – they’re comfy, perfect for playtime, and adorable. And can we take about his Hugo Loves Tiki tee for a second? Le bébé for mi bebé. More over on Babiekins. Happy Tuesday loves!
I don’t know if i’ve said it before but I’ll say it now. I love me a good romper. I think they are the absolute cutest and well, if I’m being honest..they bring out the baby in my sweet, growing toddler and I can’t get enough. Also can we talk about this Piccolini tote? It’s the perfect every day bag for our NYC adventures. I carry around the essentials – a good lipstick and pull-ups. Lucas prefers the more important stuff. Like rocks and leaves.
