I was going through all the photos from this shoot, choosing a few to print, and I couldn’t help but feel overwhelmed and just so thankful that I have these images to look back on. Dungarees. Blue Jeans. The classic overall. Lucas has long outgrown the few pairs he used to wear and I recently walked into the GAP and spotted these. In the girl section of course. They were 50% off and Lucas had to have them. In my opinion they are a childhood (and now an adult – don’t judge) staple and I had forgotten how youthful and adorable they are on my boy. I was planning to save them for back to school but Brooklyn was calling our name and these seemed like the perfect fit for a day wandering around the flea markets.
When H&M contacted me and asked if I would like to style Lucas in some pieces from their Summer collection it was a no brainer. I love H&M for classic staples in simple styles – no fuss, adorable, and they transition from season to season so well.
These looks were so easy to put together and were just wins all around. Lucas looked adorable, he was comfy, and we were ready for whatever the day had in store. Playground? Check! Play date? Check! A nice dinner with daddy? Check! A big thank you to H&M for thinking of us and collaborating!

Classic pieces that are timeless will always have my heart. Does it get any better than beautiful knits lovingly made in Spain? I think not. La Coqeuta has become one of my very favorite brands and they have such an amazing selection for both Lucas and my little princess on the way.

I’m so honored to have been asked to style a few pieces for HATCHland – HATCH’S amazing blog full of inspo! I can’t believe I’ve been dressing this bump for 33 weeks already. I’ve been wearing these pieces almost daily and they are going to be just perfect for when the baby arrives..flowy, comfy, nursing-friendly, and beautiful.

A few snaps of my boy that make me happy. We are in this awkward phase with his hair – it’s not long but not short, it gets in his eyes, and most days I pull it up into a very manly bun or pony (which I honestly LOVE). I’ve asked him several times if he wants a haircut and the answer is always no so we are waiting it out until it’s longer which I think I think will be adorable for Fall! Any who, summer days are around the corner and I’m excited for his first official romp of the season in our local splash pad. 8 weeks left of just my boy and I and I plan to make every moment count. Lots of mama and Lucas dates to come.

These photos were snapped when I was 28 weeks and basking in the tropical island sun. I miss it so! This caftan from Tart Collections was a vacation staple for me. It’s not part of their maternity collection but it fit my growing bump perfectly and it made me feel both comfortable and beautiful – not an easy feat while pregnant! The weather was amazing this past weekend (although jackets were still required for part of the day..I’m trying not to complain here..). We celebrated a friends birthday in Central Park and after the festivities we strolled around, ate ice cream, and enjoyed the blossoms showing off everywhere.
I’m so fortunate to have been able to work with A Pea in the Pod and Destination Maternity this pregnancy. I popped rather quickly and having staples that I can throw on and feel amazing in have really helped when dressing my growing bump. I have been living in these jeans and I swear I can wear them at least 5 times without washing (tmi?) because the stretch is just that good. This soul mates tee is pretty amazing – it’s so so soooftttt and $5 from every purchase is donated to Baby Buggy. Wins. PS – I couldn’t resist adding that adorable toddler face up there!

The park! Sunshine! Yesterday was glorious. And by glorious I mean amazing. And by amazing I mean Lucas was shouting “I’m the king of the world” on repeat while running and back and forth from the slide to the jungle gym. It was clear that we have been cooped up for months and this little guy was ready to stretch those legs and play. Also, this jacket? Lucas’s new fave. He says “it’s beautiful” and I couldn’t agree more! His harem pants are from last season and I love them more and more with each wear.
