I have to admit. I was looking forward to this girls trip for weeks. Months even. A few days of relaxation and no responsibility? Let me tell you about a little something called “reality check”. I missed my boys instantly. I couldn’t even look at another kid without getting mushy and talking about him. All that being said (just being an honest mama here 😉 our trip was incredible. I have always wanted to visit California and I can finally check it off my bucket list!

The weather was incredible. Every morning it was such a treat waking up to the warm weather and drinking my coffee outside in the sun. It was also friendship fuel for my soul. What an amazing blessing it is to have such incredible friends and to spend one on one time together. I had forgotten how much I missed their laughter (and shared fish bowls..). Thank you Theresa, Jairus, and Ray for being our official tour guides and showing us the best time. Natassia – I hope you had the most amazing birthday. 30 and fabulous! After 18 years of friendship, you know me better than anyone and I couldn’t be happier that I got to ring in this new year with you. Cheers to friendship, cocktails, and travel!
